Dotonbori

well we made it to Dotonbori,
bit of a guess at Nanba station on which direction to go worked out.

we dropped the gear at the hotel, which is right in the middle of dotonbori, then headed downstairs for a look around. However not before a quick visit to the vender room on our floor, I grabbed a 500ml Asahi (300Y) while sarah opted for the tinned apple juice.
This place is crazy! everything so lit up and music everywhere.
Giant mechanical crabs, inflatable puffer fish and plastic menu items are the norm!!!

More vending machine drinks, some unreal Ramen and a crack at osaka's famous takoyaki balls were in order. The Ramen place we visited was unreal, you pay a vending machine outside where the menu is then take the small card in to be seated, we only ordered one dish between us (800y) and they gave us two bowls to share. needless to say we didnt get through the tako balls after as it was so filling. I think we needed to eat a little less on the plane haha.

Walked around for a little longer. this place seems never ending, the further you go the more lights, restaraunts and pachinko parlours appear. One thing we have noticed though is there is hardly any bins on the street, has been a real struggle to find them at times. Everything is so clean so its kinda weird.

anyways only a short post as we didnt get to bed until real late and need to get back out there before our time in osaka is up!
