well we left Cairns for Osaka!
We managed to get a couple of snaps this time but by the time we were allowed to have electric equipment on the reef was so far away and the colour just wasnt the same. You kinda get the gist anyway
A lot longer flight this time, going for just over 7 hours.
Luckily we were fed on this flight, with a sweet and sour pork lunch and sesame chicken going down well. Well after watching a couple of movies and planning our trip ahead we got our first glimpse of Japan. Spectacular view i must admit, huge mountains going right into the ocean, big gorges and thick forrests. Coming into Kansai was something different again, a very industrial type area with a lot of shipping ports etc. Certainly very different from anything ive seen in Australia, even in the bigger cities.
getting out of the customs at KIX was a little daunting as not many people speak english.
we soon managed to get a subway pass and made the journey to Nanba Station in downtown Osaka!
